Hi. Thanks very much for this note. We’re adding captions tonight and, if all goes well (and we get the technical stuff figured out) captioning will be available tomorrow. -Misty
This is deliciously funny (with much truth in it!). if you ever decide you need to supplement your income, Misty, you might consider stand-up comedy; I’D definitely pay to come and hear you!
Ya know, when I was in high school maaaaaannnnnnny years ago they said we would someday be eating pills full of nutrition and not have to eat food any more. We’re getting close. They are just disguising the pills to look like food so they can fool the masses. So what if we get sick from it. Like you said, they have that covered, too.
I found you by way of your “Hazards of Backyard Hens” video, and I didn’t think it was possible to love you any more. Then I watch this Monsanto video, and I realize I was wrong. So very, very wrong. I do love you more.
I love both of your videos. How true and how funny. Never in the history of man has our food supply been so modified, manipulated, and corrupted in the name of science and especially in the interests of profit-making corporations. Thank you for the humorous approach in shedding a light on GMO’s.
This is wonderful! Shared with my kidos and facebook. New to blogging! My family and I have been researching homesteading. Attempting to gain as much knowledge as possible for our own farm one day, hopefully soon! Thank you THANK YOU!
Love your videos. I was wondering what started you down this path? For myself I happened across a ton of info on water quality, and ended up buying a reverse osmosis water filter. Since then there has been no turning back. Local, Agorist, Voluntary fellow traveler (linked site still under construction).
Misty I LOVE your videos. And I love even more that I was turned on to your blog by 2 gay republican friends of mine (I don’t think they watched this Monsanto video lol). I’m a chicken fanatic and one of those California liberals and I’m totally with you on Monsanto, however I’m curious about your opposition to GMOs. Are you concerned that there’s a health risk by eating GMOs? Or is it the environmental and other risks? Full disclaimer, i’m a veterinarian and I work in research at a university and I work with GMO mice so understand the science there. I must add I would NEVER eat GMO mice, but mostly because they’re mice, not the GMO thing 🙂
My brother is a gay Republican — are you sure this wasn’t an inside job? 😀 My opposition to GMOs is the lack of labeling. I want to be able to avoid them if I feel like it. Corporations are worried that if there is a label, profits will suffer. In a free market economy I just can’t be bothered with that goofy line of reasoning. I want the freedom to vote with my dollar so stick a label on it, please.
In reality I buy local heirloom whenever it is in season and shun the whole mess.

This is really funny, but scary! I just wrote and illustrated a book about chickens published last week! Slippery slope!
I love your new videos. Love your humor. Keep it up.
I love your videos! Is there a way to subscribe to your blog or video feed? I’m not seeing a button around here…
Thanks!

…just got 6 chickens…hilarious! I already spend more time watching them than I do watching my 3 kids under 5. Now I need a goat. Loved this.
WINNER, WINNER, chicke…um, nevermind. Thoroughly enjoyed your video. Well done!
